Michael R. Blumenthal is an accomplished trial attorney who devotes
a substantial portion of his practice to environmental, commercial
and toxic tort litigation. He has extensive experience in
prosecuting and defending citizen suit and cost recovery actions
under state and federal law. He regularly defends private and
publicly held companies in environmental enforcement actions brought
by U.S. EPA and Ohio EPA. He counsels developers, manufacturers and
lenders on the buying, selling and redeveloping of contaminated
properties under Ohio's Brownfield Program. He was a principal
author of Ohio's Underground Storage Tank Regulations and continues
to participate on various rulemaking committees for Ohio EPA and the
Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations. |
